The
hospital has established a Guest Relations Department to
act as a liaison between the patient and hospital
departments. They are also patient representatives or
advocates. Department staff visit patients on a daily
basis to greet them, inform them of their rights,
resolve problems, discuss the patient survey program,
and to discuss medical advance directives.
Patient satisfaction is a continuous goal of this
department. If you have a complaint about the care you
have received, it should immediately be discussed with
the supervisor on duty in the department. Immediate
steps will be taken to resolve the problem. The Guest
Relations Coordinator, Ms. Maria Perez, should be
contacted any time you feel the problem has not been
resolved to your satisfaction. To contact the Guest
